But here’s the rest of the story:
…Germany is interested in insuring that businesses selling their products within Germany or to German companies abide by the law and do not engage in wrongful business practices or misrepresent their products.
So it’s a little tricky, or, since we’re talking gummy bears, perhaps I should say sticky here. The issue is where the case should be tried when TWO locations have an interest. Whose interest trumps??? For our purposes here, we don’t need to answer that question. Suffice to say that yet another court recognized the interest of a U.S. state in keeping its corporate citizens in line.
